OK COOL

Medium: Paper mâché on canvas and Pen & ink on paper

I find myself saying "ok cool" on a regular basis and thought it could be a creative slogan to put on my art work. I paper mâched the background with cool colored tissue paper to show unity between the colors and diction.

This is a breath piece that show multimedia. The use of the photo serves as the background and the ring of the planet, the pencil drawing is the base of the planet and is elevated above the rest of the piece, and the extra detail shows a personal touch.   

Through The Grapevine

Nowadays it seems as if teenagers only hear things through the grapevine or the media. This piece represents the desire teens have to know about everything that is going on around them.   

Reaching In Cambodia

This painting was inspired by a trip I took to Cambodia and focus on the cool colors and geometric shapes of the islands.
